Late Spring in Vancouver

Every once in a while I photograph other favourite subjects: landscapes, flowers, or destinations along my travel journeys.  

Last week I was visiting the lovely city of Vancouver.  I grew up near Vancouver, so it has always held a special place in my heart.  

My Australian friend Eleanor who now lives in Vancouver also enjoys photography, so when we have the opportunity to get together, we go "shooting" with our cameras.  Last week's destination was the beautiful Van Dusen Gardens near the heart of Vancouver.

Byron, Melissa & Sidney

Last week my sister Melissa, her husband Byron, and their 6-month-old daughter Sidney came to visit from BC.  We had a fun visit.  Melissa & Byron wanted 6-month photos done of Sidney, so we took oodles of photos over the course of their visit.  I'm so glad I could have this time with my sister & her family.

The "D" Family

The "D" family got together last weekend in Calgary for the parents' 40th wedding anniversary.  The photos were taken in Shane & Donna's back yard... it was a beautiful, warm & sunny day.

Rob & Charlotte had family photos done for the first time with daughter Elizabeth.  It seemed like such a short time ago that Elizabeth was a newborn... & now she's 10 months old already!!  Wow!
