At a recent wedding workshop here in Calgary, I had the opportunity to photograph model & photographer Paul McGrath and the beautiful Ania from Poland.

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep

I am also a photographer with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, a nonprofit organization which offers remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with the free gift of professional portraiture. These services are available for infant loss as early as 25 weeks gestation, or at the discretion of medical personnel. We believe these images serve as an important step in the family's healing process by honouring their child's legacy.

On March 21 I had the opportunity to take photographs for a Calgary family who requested Remembrance Photography for a daughter. It was a very touching experience, and I feel honoured & blessed to be a part of this little girl's life during her short time here on earth.

Out of respect for the family's privacy & as per NILMDTS ethics, I will not display photographs of this session on this blog nor on my website.

Wedding Workshop Photo Shoot.  

We had 15 cm of snow the day prior to this shoot in late March, and more snow was forecasted; however, the weather behaved and we got sunshine instead.  

Christie was such a trooper... putting up with the glaring sun & the late-afternoon wind.

This newly-wed couple is expecting a baby in October (due date Oct 14) - very exciting!!

Brandi

Last week (27.03.09) I had the opportunity to photograph Brandi at a local photo studio.  She was one of the models for a photo workshop.

My first photo shoot of 2009 was with Brad & Brandy.  

We met up in Banff at Vermilion Lakes & at Bow Falls.  It was such a COLD day (-20C) but we had so much fun!

Their wedding was booked for Mexico, March 2009.
